Three extra prizes that will be awarded across all categories as follows:

  • Best Local filmmaker (entrant to be living in the West Midlands region)

  • Best new filmmaker over 60

Closing date is August 1st and the date when winners will be notified is August 31st with the screenings of the winning entries to be on September 9th.

We will be running a judges weekend on the 19th and 20th of August and invite anyone interested to Stratford Upon Avon for a weekend of visiting the Shakespeare Houses, watching entries and getting top tips on Judging Shakespeare Shorts. Please note we will not be providing accommodation or meals, but all judges will receive a complimentary pass to all five Shakespeare Houses valid for one year.
