Film has many facets which can be used to illuminate, challenge and enhance knowledge of the world and of oneself.Reel Solutions can offer training for teachers, community and youth workers on the creative use of film in formal and informal education.

With connections to UK Film organisations such as the British Film Institute, Film Education, Film Club, British Federation of Film Societies and the Yorkshire Film Archive plus links with film festivals, we can offer a range of opportunities for children,  young people and adults to learn about film and through film.

Reel Language has received a  quote from Lord Puttnam in support of the work behind Reel Language.

“I passionately believe that an exposure to the widest possible range of world cinema helps children and young people to significantly improve their understanding of the world around them, of other people and of themselves. That is why I am convinced that world cinema can play a valuable role in education.” – Lord Puttnam, CBE
