Literacy and Film

Using films to enhance and develop English Literacy  - Full Day CPD

Film and Literacy

The session can focus on a particular action point from the School Plan or Ofsted report and can explore creative uses of film in enhancing literacy across the school.

We can look at using film to encourage writing, reading and communication skills. Through a range of creative and practical workshops; teachers, assistants and advisors can explore how to use moving image to enhance planning and encourage engagement in the classroom.

This full day training uses a selection of film to enhance a wide range of literacy skills.  The skills are transferable across KS2 and the top end of KS1.
