Into Film Summer School

For Young Aspiring Filmmakers Aged 14-16 Years.



Do you fancy doing something new and exciting this summer? Aged 14-16? Then roll up, roll up for the Into Film Summer Schools this July and August in Bradford and Scarborough.

The courses are completely free to join and will run from Friday 29 July until Friday 5 August 2016 (excluding Sunday 31 July) in Bradford and Scarborough for up to 20 young people aged 14-16 years.

There will be premiere screenings of the films you make on Saturday 13 August 2016 at the National Media Museum in Bradford and Sunday 14 August 2016 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough for friends and family to celebrate what you have achieved.

During the course you will:

  • SEE a range of films and learn how to write about them
  • THINK about stories you want to tell and the different techniques you will use
  • MAKE a short film as part of a crew with friendly mentors from the film industry
  • LEARN techniques such as storyboarding and editing
  • IMAGINE and build dreams for a bright future
