Reel Solutions was set up in 2006 to pursue independent projects supporting cinemas. As it developed it has delivered training through the BFI Film Academy scheme, film festival programming and support, large scale projects in live music for film, business planning and film production support. Indeed, if you have a question in film, we can often find an answer. We are a partnership of consultants who have many years experience in the cinema and film industries and a wide range of contacts, so if we don’t know we probably know someone who does. Reel Solutions provides opportunities for young people to have fun with filmmaking processes, gain confidence, new skills and learn more about careers in the UK screen industries, which we are very proud to be a part of. We believe in the next generation, their enthusiasm, their talent and their ambitions and feel hugely privileged to be able to help support and play a role in enabling their dreams, expanding their horizons and experience.

Reel Solutions has been offering programming for cinemas and festivals from the beginning. With many years of experience in UK cinemas and festivals, the team have developed contacts with all distributors in the UK and many sales agents. From programming full time cinemas, including IMAX to occasional screenings at multi-arts venues we have extensive experience to offer a low cost option for getting the right film in front of your audience. We have created start up film festivals, worked on many others. We created a bespoke national programme of short films screening across the UK in 2022 and mounted major cinema events internationally.

Reel Solutions is a promoter of film with orchestra events and a film consultancy firm with offices in Barcelona and the United Kingdom and a great knowledge of the sector in the areas of film festivals, programming, distribution and exhibition.
